So…Life Happens

In the past week I have dealt with a major altercation between my little Jack Russell Terrier and a skunk, a broken washing machine (and a flooded laundry room) and a nasty head and now chest cold-Ha! Life does happen!  It gets in the way of the things we would rather be doing, or need to be doing, doesn’t it?  That can impact our motivation and thus begins the downward cycle.

I hope you get a boost of confidence today! Let’s get motivated and DO this!

However, a simple thing like a kind word or a timely encouragement from someone (likeYour Best Fitness Friend) can often be all it takes to help you get back on your feet and take on the challenges of the day. For me, motivation can come from a simple text, like this one:

“So I am super excited I just did 45 min straight in the elliptical!:) I really thought [before] I met you that things were never going to change! Just wanted to say in these couple weeks  I’ve been more motivated than ever! Thank you! 🙂 see you tomorrow   Sent from my iPhone”

 

I am so thankful for these encouraging words today-they made a HUGE difference in how I plan to face the day ahead!
