It’s difficult to prepare healthy meals that please the WHOLE family and this is even more of a challenge when you mix in the Holidays, kids home from school, crazy busyness, and visitors from out of town (who may or may not like to ‘eat healthy’)!
Today I am starting a series of 12 ‘skinny’ versions of traditional and family favorites that you can try!
Skinny Spaghetti
1 lb.Turkey Kielbasa, sliced
½ med. Onion, diced
your favorite prepared spaghetti sauce
seasonings, to taste
Your favorite whole grain pasta
Directions: Brown sliced kielbasa and onion together. Add sauce and seasonings, simmer for 15 min. Prepare pasta according to package. Serve topped with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese! Easy!
